VENUE to Feature Folksinger/Songwriter Duo

According to Bob Everhart of Tradition Magazine, Patricia Pettinga “doesn’t just sing…she paints beautiful pictures that move, bend, capture, delight, change, carry away the mind.” On DATE, this folk chanteuse, along with her husband and musical partner Bill Willging will bring their sound to VENUE staring at TIME.

Willging adds guitar bass lines, rhythms and leads, as well as vocal harmonies.

The duo has toured extensively in Michigan and throughout the Midwest. Their repertoire includes a broad range of styles and songs—from folk, to blues, to contemporary…with a dash of bluegrass and jazz tossed in from time to time. Several of Pettinga’s original tunes will be on the set lists. Her original song subjects and other selections range as widely as her influences and styles—from lyrical ballads to social commentary to saucy humor. All of the songs are delivered with a satisfying mix of wit, wisdom and warmth.
